I lose all sound in Far Cry 3 after the intro cutscene. Is there a fix? Nvm, problem dissapeared after restarting the game . Upvote 0 Downvote. Problem: Semi infinite loading screen with random freezes and audio looping that comes and goes during the infinite loading. This appears when loading into the game itself. Not startup. Game: Singleplayer Platform: PC Specs: e8600 core 2 duo, 4 gb memory, gtx 260(216 core), gigabyte ep-35ds3 motherboard and using onboard raid0 for c:drive and for audio (realtek). Everything is at stock speeds.
I have been playing the game non stop for 3 days nows with no problems, everything is smooth at high detail levels, with dolby 5.1 soundbut as of this morningThe game no longer has any sound.
Audio problems When I start the game from steam I can hear the music from the main menu and the audio from the first cinematic, but when the game actually starts (when Vaas is talking to you while in the cage at the beggining) the game doesn't have sound.
The game runs better on 4 cores, open Task Manager, Details, right click on the FC3.exe, set affinity, and for your i7 7700k set it to run on every other CPU thread. I don't know if it will fix your problems, but doing this gives me better average FPS. It works for FC3 Blood Dragon too, and FC4 as well depending on your system.
