You need to press L twice to activate the head lights. If you only press L once you only have parkinglights, or positionlights, on. The perfect solution for someone who needs front warning lights, but doesn’t want to install a light bar on the roof of their truck. This mod was inspired by some of the show trucks by Equipment Express Inc. in Caldwell, TX, and also because since the flare rework update came out, I’ve been only a little strobe-crazy.
Strangely enough, I have no issues with extreme night darkness in ETS2, but in ATS the nights are often jet black, to the point where - outside of my light beam - I cannot see anything at all except black. I've only seen such darkness during military exercises; when we were in a heavy canopy forest and it was totally overcast.

Every time you have been changing or putting on accessories on your truck it will reset the truck lights configuration. You have to press F4 and check the two auxiliary light marks again. Happy in' and lightning up the roads.

I have such a problem after updating in the cabin and outside at night it is very dark, even invisible to the highest details and buggy lighting of the lamps in the truck that there is an aura near the truck and clocks in the cabin and everything is dark. In Euro Truck Simulator 2, you can turn on headlights when the visibility level is low. If the visibility is low, you need to turn on your headlights so that the other drivers can see you.
