Le Guiness Book officialise 2 500 000 spectateurs, un record de plus.
1981 : Cinq concerts en Chine: Pékin (21 et 22 octobre), Shanghaï (26,27 et 29 octobre). Les Concerts En Chine-Enregistrement Live Les chinois ont vu arriver Jarre et sa tenue blanche sans croire ce qu’il voyait et entendait : le musicien français était le premier musicien occidental à avoir été jouer dans la chine de l’après-Mao.
