Golf TDI/A3 TDI drive very similarly as they have the same engine, DSG transmission, and same basic chassis. I got the A3 because of the nicer interior, better nav system and better shift knob and because I got such a good deal that they were almost the same price. I liked the GTI a lot better than the 2.0T FWD A3.
