Help Needed: Fortnite is not recognizing input from my Xbox One controller. I just bought a PC and have been attempting to connect to Fornite using my Xbox One controller with a wired connection. The PC picks up my controller and the controller functions well in other apps and games (Xbox Companion). The controller is listed in device manager
Easy fix. Do not open Fortnite through Steam. Open Fortnite normally. When in lobby Press F11. Go to settings & change from window to full screen. Before you hit apply. Select one resolution option down. Example Iām gaming in 4K. I will select 1440P.
